The Haiti Project

The Haiti Project is an ambitious project dedicated to sharing everything TLOP has to offer to facilitate hope, possibility, and peace throughout Haiti…one community at a time.

The objective is to partner with the Haitian people in the creation of a bold comprehensive healing vision and participate in the transformation of Haiti. The vision recognizes how Haiti is a proud and resilient society suppressed by the despair, mistreatment, and oppressions of yesterday and seeks to transform her into a jewel of hope, possibility, and progress for a new tomorrow.

We are working on building this new society through addressing as many of the issues required to bring prosperity to the whole society: safety, security, electricity, food, clothing, shelter, education, infrastructure, self-healing, creating greater individual and societal integration (to name a few), and fostering equity and equal opportunity for all. We are starting with one community at a time through bringing people together with different areas of expertise from outside of Haiti and partnering with people who are Haitian. The voices elevated the loudest are the Haitian voices. Our role is to support and supplement those who live the Haitian experience in Haiti today.
